Beat the Bugs Course Revamp
e-Bug is delivering a project to update and relaunch the Beat the Bugs course, a community-based educational programme designed to improve knowledge of infection prevention, hygiene, and appropriate antibiotic use among young people.
Project Overview
Originally developed in 2016 for 16–25-year-olds with learning difficulties and complex needs, the Beat the Bugs course is being refreshed to increase its accessibility, relevance, and uptake. The project aims to strengthen public health education by ensuring the resource meets current user needs and reflects up-to-date information and design standards.

Key Project Activities
- Needs assessment and review
Analysing previous evaluations and feedback to identify areas for improvement and ensure the content remains relevant and effective. - Resource update and redesign
Updating course content and redesigning materials to align with current accessibility standards and e-Bug branding. - Promotion and dissemination
Re-launching the updated resource through the e-Bug website and promotion the new resource through social media, and partner networks to increase awareness and uptake.
